Mind the GAAP 2006


KPMG Somekh Chaikin hosted the Mind the GAAP 2006 conference, held for the 6th year in succession. This year we dealt with current issues such as:
  • Accounting and SEC developments and updates
  • Executive Compensation in the Crosshairs: The Issue of Options  Backdating
  • Growth and market penetration via mergers and acquisitions
  • The penetration of the cellular industry to the entertainment world
  • The leadership skills needed for management nowadays
The conference, held in the Eretz Israel Museum, was attended by Directors, CEOs and CFOs of leading IT, Hi-tech and Life science companies in Israel, traded on an American stock exchange or planning an IPO in the US.
