Manufacturing in Argentina, Brazil and Chile –
Opportunities and Challenges
South America finally seems to be emerging from a period of economic
underperformance as manufacturing investment starts to flow back
into the continent’s leading economies. Overall growth rates are up,
currencies are appreciating yet inflation remains relatively low and
country risk ratings are falling.
With this in mind KPMG International has produced a report analyzing
the factors which are currently shaping the resurgence of three
major South American economies, specifically Argentina, Brazil and
Chile (ABC Economies).

2005 KPMG Global Auto Executive Survey
A mood of caution prevails among automotive executives this year.
This fourth consecutive tracking study found respondents less
positive and more realistic than in
the three previous years.
